What surfaces can I use my vinyl floor mat on?
Our vinyl mats are idea for most flat surfaces. The thickness is about 1/16 inch which means they can fit under most doorways. They will not damage or discolor hardwood floors (be sure to clean up spills that roll under it right away). When used on tile with wide grout, please be aware that furniture legs or high heel shoes may puncture the mat, please use caution. We do not recommend use on carpet, gravel, or any other uneven surface.
Should I use reasonable caution and care when handling my vinyl floor mat?
Yes, while our vinyl floor mats are durable, they are not indestructible. Avoid dragging metal or furniture across the surface. Always use caution when wearing high heels. Apply felt pads to the bottoms of furniture legs. Clean all spills as soon as they occur as this will prevent staining.
Can I use my vinyl floor mat outside?
Yes, our vinyl floor mats are suitable for controlled outdoor use. When installing outside, be sure to anchor your vinyl mat to prevent wind damage. After wet weather, be sure to periodically flip the vinyl over to dry and prevent mildew. Please note, we do not recommend our vinyl floor mats for poolside use. If installing over stained concrete or treated surfaces, make sure the surface is properly cured before installation, as residual solvents may damage the non-slip surface.
