4 Stylish and Creative Ways to Design a Small Space

Leslie Lehr is a professional organizer, blogger, and lifestyle influencer. Tempaper recently partnered with Leslie to transform a closet into a chic workspace. Since she provides organized lifestyle solutions for the areas used most by providing style + function, we asked her to share her four favorite tips to style and create a small space.

My design philosophy is style and function by creating a space that is clutter-free and peaceful. When I style a small space I consider the following:

1. Feature Wall
Establish a feature wall or accessory to add pizzazz to a small space. I love to use Tempaper Self Adhesive Removable Wallpaper, tile or oversized art piece to create a feature wall. The advantage of Tempaper and artwork is the flexibility to remove and replace.

2. Glass and Mirrors
Using furniture and decor made of glass and mirrors in a small space is a creative solution to enhance the room. The mirror provides additional light and the glass provides the illusion of additional space.

3. Light and Bright

When I approach a small space I select accessories that are light and bright with a few pieces that pop.

4. Less is More
My approach to styling and creating a small space is to only choose a few signature pieces because less is more. A fabulous small space can shine with one signature home accessory or feature wall.
